Novenet Limited is coming along. When I say that I mean still in the planning stages. A few things are confirmed though. It will be the local business arm focusing on providing web services to local business initially.

We have a prototype logo (as you can see above) which will change when we have a found one that represents our image. I can’t remember if I posted it before. The logo is above. I have clear plans of what we should focus on. It’s just getting it down actioned on and the like. There still is a skills drain which needs filling. If anyone is looking for a experience to put on their CV and is located in the UK please contact me! πŸ™‚

What you get from McDonalds Enfield Retail Park

Hope you like my cheesy eyelash! Mhmmm πŸ™‚

Nearly made me sick πŸ™

Fancied a cheeseburger for lunch cos they are so addictive! Anyone who knows Enfield knows this retail park is pure evil. Krispy Kreme is opposite McDonalds note this was the first Krispy Kreme in Europe! I call it fat park. Half way through eating my burger and boom I noticed there was a eyelash on my wrapper in the cheese. I’ve heard of McDonalds famous garnishes but never this. Almost made me chunder.

I prefer burger king anyway. Better tasting… A shame there is so few of them. Hope I haven’t put you all off.

First post using the wordpress app for my iPhone!

Woohoo πŸ˜€

Got a car!! Woohoo!!

I have a car finally. I’ve not been able to post much due to lots of things going on with it (Good and bad). Anyway I’m now a proud owner of a Renault Clio 2.

I had a few problems with it after purchase due to me not getting it checked properly however it’s repaired now. The car was low priced but the repairs that needed doing ended up bringing it up to Β£500.

Soon after purchase I had the car serviced and the gearbox oil topped up. Problems were immediately brought up. The problems were that the two front suspension coils, wheel cylinder, CV boot and spare tyre being perished amongst other small things. They are all fixed now. However I still have issues when starting (someone informed me it may be the TDC sensor!) and I do need 3 new tyres.

Apart from that all is gravy πŸ™‚

I’ve been so busy so not really had time to post. Busy with work. Busy with the business and stuff. I’ve renamed the company to Novenet and we have a semi-pro logo created by yours truly! We will have a professional logo and site coming online soon though. I will talk about that all in another post.

Anyway just wish me luck with my motor readers!! Hopefully I get a year outta it at least πŸ™‚

Looking forward to having my first car finally!

I’m slowly getting impatient and annoyed at having to take buses and walk to from work. I can’t wait to get a car. I’m planning to get one in a few weeks time (If I decide to spend my money on a car). Frankly, I can’t wait! It’s been a few years since I passed and it’s about time I got my first car.

I just can’t stand getting on buses anymore. Late at night waiting for them just argh, just argh!

TV and it’s role in informing us

Many times people fuss over story lines in soaps and TV shows. Criticizing them, calling them too outlandish and unsuitable for screening. The Eastender’s baby swapping scandal, Waterloo road’s recent transgender episode being the two most memorable.

I happen to think many of these shows do actually serve a role in society. Nobody can deny how powerful TV is on changing minds, maybe even more so then the internet. So, having these issues brought out makes the public aware of them. How to confront them so they are not hidden away and left to fester. The transgender episode of Waterloo road (school television drama) stood out the most in my opinion. It touched on many issues I’d imagine a person who feels trapped in the wrong body would be going through.

Having initially thought he was just a sex mad teen. Chris Mead, The deputy headteacher caught the boy looking at underwear magazines and in the girls changing rooms. In the end the deputy headteacher learned that not everyone is the same. By bringing this to the screens (if done right) this educates society = that has to be a good thing? πŸ™‚

Anyway.. hope the other episodes of Waterloo road continue with the storyline and don’t mess with it too much. Got another blog post coming soon (not on this subject) so stay tuned πŸ˜‰

Too many bank holidays!

As the title says… last year I wouldn’t really have cared much but when your running a business. Trying to find out if you got a job and having to wait for bank accounts to be updated! Everything just slows to a absolute crawl too. Ah well, nice for people who get to have time of work.

Hope Prince William and Kate Middleton (Princess Kate?) have a happy and fulfilling marriage.

Anyway, after all the bank holidays the are down I plan on renaming my company name to make it more “pitch able”. The MonkeyPC will still go ahead as a unchanged entity. Just behind the scenes the legal company name will change πŸ™‚

Some things will be removed from The MonkeyPC and switched to the more corporate brand though. The MonkeyPC was intended to be ideal for individuals rather then large business. Apart from that nothing will change. If all is good. I should get a cash injection within 2 months at best. We will have a official mascot designed for The MonkeyPC and our new brand launched!

*Change topic* πŸ˜›

I really want to finish reading my Alexander Pushkin novels. Queen of Spades is next I think.
To conclude… I really will try harder to update this more regularly (I know I say it every time! :D)
